Jack says 'goodbye'... for now.

This morning, somewhere around 2am, Jack quietly, peacefully, gently slipped away to be with God and a host of other family and friends.  He did it the same way he did when he was with us; one minute he was here, the next he was gone. Only this time we know where he went.

Jack was a warrior. A brave soldier. In every way possible. He was a terrific son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and ambassador for Jesus Christ.

We share our heavy hearts with those who were blessed enough to know him, and even those who didn't, as they shared in our journey some way.

He will be missed greatly, every day, but never forgotten.

We will post arrangements as soon as we have them finalized.  Thank you for letting us share Jack's life with you.

God Bless.

  9. To the family of Jack,

My deepest sympathy to all of you!!! I am so insanely sorry for your loss!!!

I consider myself lucky that I was able to meet Jack a few years ago. I remember an amazing young man... an inspiring character... an invigorating soul.

My thoughts and prayers were with Jack and all of you as I was following this blog daily since a few months.

It may not mean a whole lot to right now, but reading about how Jack and all of you are fighting for every little inch... how you were standing and growing together... helped me coping with a very similar situation that is happening in my immediate family right now.

Jack was and will always be in my heart!

    God bless.

  14. I'm sure Jack is singing with all the angels at this very moment! While I didn't know Jack directly his story, your story, touched my family's heart deeply. We were honored to know of him through the love and fellowship of Transfiguration.

God bless you all. You are in our prayers.

  17. Dear Mary, Bob and Family,

I was so very saddened to learn of Jack's passing. While I have not been directly in touch, Sherry had kept me informed of all that was going on with Jack and your family and you were in my thoughts and prayers from the beginning. Of course I was sorry to hear of your mother's death at such a difficult time as well, Mary. But she was there in heaven to welcome Jack and that must bring some comfort. It is always hard to know the right words to say, so I will simply say again that we continue to hold you in our thoughts and prayers. We will always have fond and happy memories of your wonderful Jack.
