Praise the Lord!!

Thankfully, the spinal MRI has come back clean!!!  Thank you Father for continuing to take care of Jack and for always being there when we come to you.  We pray that you will keep your hands on the situation as we wait to hear the results of the brain MRI.

The family will hear from the surgeon tomorrow about the biospy.  If they can do the biospy, then they will wait two days before they put the port in his chest to begin chemo.  They will start steroids today to shrink the swelling in the cranial nerve.

Jack has pretty severe head pain and now both eyes are moving involunterially.  His balance is off but mostly he is complaining of pain behind his eyes.  They have started morphine,  but it isn't taking the edge off his pain.  Once they determine how aggressive the tumor is and what stage it is, they will decide about surgery and radiation.  We will know more about the brain scan later tonight.

Please continue to lift up Mary, Bob, Jack, and Charlie as they go through this difficult time.  Our Lord is greater than this!!

Thanks--Lindsey McGreger

  2. Jack,
We are so happy to hear the results of the MRI today! We are praying for the news of this next MRI to be just as good or better. I know God has his loving arms around you and I pray you find comfort in knowing he is with all of you during all of this. I do hope the meds they are giving you help with your headaches and you are able to get some rest. Just know the Warriors are praying and we know He is listening! We love you and will wait to hear more good news soon!

  3. Hello, Jack! We need to quit meeting like this and go for coffee and cake instead! I am praying for you that you will have an awesome day and be pain free very soon. I love you. Remember you are a "Can Do Kid" able to conquer any feat with the strength of Christ Jesus. He who began a work in you will complete it and we are all right where he wants us--at the foot of the cross--praising Him for what he has already done in your life--I am staying tuned for more. Give Charlie a hug from me and tell him that I love him too. Mrs. Landy

  4. My dear friend Jack,

How I miss your smiling face and hugs. I love you dear one and know that God put you in my life for a special reason. You probably know what I am going to say as you once again enter into a difficult journey, "I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me". And you can dear Jack. I am going to make a special trip to come see you - I love you Jack.
